Election Information

Morris County Board of Elections

  • Register to Vote - Print and complete the form on this page. You can use the same form to change your address or party affiliation. The form must be received at the Board of Elections by 21 days before the election (October 13, 2009 for this year's General Election) so plan to mail it a few days earlier.
  • Voter Registration General Information answers most questions about registration.
  • Where to vote in Morris Plains: Polling stations for all districts are at the Morris Plains Community Center, 51 Jim Fear Drive.
  • Absentee Ballots - Fill out the Vote By Mail Application or the Military Service Ballot Application and mail it to the County Clerk's office. The applications must be received no later than 7 days before the election.
  • Poll Workers - We need Poll workers in Morris Plains- especially in November
  • Party Affiliation Change Form "A newly registered voter or a voter, who has never voted in a Primary Election, can affiliate with the Democratic or Republican Party on the day of the primary. "
