WOW - WAY TO GO DEMS!!
Thank you to all who participated in our very first appearance as a Democratic Party in the Morris Plains Memorial Day Parade! Our turnout was fantastic. Shockingly, we had a great response from the town people. Dreading the anticipated thrown tomatoes, surprisingly we were cheered on by many people. One women even screamed "YOU GO DEMS!!!" It was so loud she drew lots of attention. It was so great to be surrounded by such positive energy.
We want to especially thank Dan and Addie Kanter for their awesome antique classic car. It was priceless to see the kids enjoy tossing candy to the spectators, from the back seat of the 1955 Packard convertible and being cheered on by many of their friends!!!
We received many compliments about our T-shirts. Thank you Arjun Agarwal for your vision!!
Besides marching together in the parade, I want to always thank our party committee members for sticking together like a family - our Democratic family! The more we pull together and keep focused on the importance of balance in government, the bigger our party will grow! We felt an energy today that people want balance in Morris Plains- not only in our town but in our county and national government as well. We want to thank Tom Wyka for appearing and marching by our side for support. Let's all remember to support Tom Wyka www.tomwyka.com for the United States Congress this November!! Also, we need to support all of our Democratic candidates, including Morris County Freeholder candidates, Dana Wefer, Jack Hartford, Richard Leary www.morrisdems.org/photogallery.htm. It is so important that we support all our family members at every level.
Thank you all again.
Chris Gargano
